Mighty Oaks Grow from Little Acorns

I heard this quote last week and I had to write it down. In fact, I wrote it down on a napkin while I was stopped at a red light. I'm not sure who said it first, but I heard it from Dr. Norman Vincent Peale on the audio version of his book "The Power of Positive Thinking".

"Mighty Oaks Grow from Little Acorns."

Just think about that line for a minute. Almost everyone is guilty of saying I want to attract winning the lottery or I want to attract a lot of money, and I want it now.

We need to plant the seeds of our desires. We need to cultivate the soil, water the ground, fertilize it and be patient knowing that it will manifest.

The mighty oak trees don't grow over night. The same can be said of our desires; they won't manifest over night. I understand there are some situations when things manifest instantly; I have many examples of them myself and I have told the stories many times. But when we are looking to manifest something big, like a mighty oak, we need to be patient.

I suggest you continue to give your desires your positive emotional energy and let the universe deliver when the time is right.

Remember, for something to manifest it must first start out as a thought. This little thought then can be part of your daily intentions. And then it can go on your vision board. Sooner or later this little thought will manifest into a mighty desire, which will turn into reality.

Everything starts with a thought. The thought leads to action. The action leads to results.

Be patient. Believe your desires will manifest. And you will be amazed at all of the wonderful things you attract into your life.

Until the next post...
Make it a great day!

    Steve,

Another great reminder that it is the little things (Thoughts) that we have in our head that can grow into great big things! What do we want to plant? What do we want to grow? Once we decide that, we can make our garden as great as we want! (It still takes work)...

Great advice man...thanks for sharing with us!

ps---I also heard a line recently about not letting the weeds take the garden...staying on top of our thoughts...keeping out bad ones...protecting our positive thoughts so that they have the opportunity to grow into great big things...I'm working on that now!
